Although Insurance of the Heartland is located in the middle of Custer County, we have clients from every end of the State of Nebraska. Our primary service area includes Broken Bow, Sargent, Merna, Burwell, and Kearney. With the large investment that our agency has made in technology we can offer insurance in any town in Nebraska with a limited effort from clients.

Insurance of the Heartland is an independent insurance agency. This is a great benefit to our clients as we are able to provide them with customized insurance solutions from a large number of insurance carriers that include Farmers Mutual of Nebraska, Nationwide, Progressive, among dozens of others. Our agency strictly researchers each of the carriers that we write business for in order to make sure they all live up to the values of our agency. We only want our clients to have their insurance with carriers that have a strong financial background, excellent claims staff, ethical underwriters, and competitive premiums.

Our agency takes the time to meet with every client to create a plan for their personal or commercial insurance needs. We have a wide variety of products to help best protect all the assets that you have. These products include homeowner, personal and commercial auto, farm & ranch, business owners, individual & group health insurance, individual and group life insurance, recreational vehicle, Medicare supplements, landlord insurance, among others.

Our Philosophy

Insurance of the Heartland strongly believes in the heartland (most specifically Nebraska). Our goal is to help the communities that we do business grow and help gain more attention to what the heartland has to offer. All of our agents grew up in rural Nebraska and in order to keep the “Good Life” going we support local non-profits, schools, fairs, among various other events. We truly care about the areas we live and work with and show our support through quality products and giving our time.
